Our Trip to Troon

On Wednesday 27th June 2026 almost 60 Past Times visitors and volunteers went ‘doon the watter’ to Troon on a glorious sunny day. Most of us travelled on the coach, driven by the delightful driver, Jamie. Others made their own way to the South Beach Hotel where we had a lovely lunch. As you can see from the pictures, the sunshine allowed everyone to have a wonderful time, whether they were having a paddle, eating ice cream or sitting in the hotel gardens. We owe a huge thank you to Jamie, the staff of the South Beach and especially to Age Scotland. The Age Scotland Encouraging Grass Roots Activities Fund paid for our trip - and we made the most of every penny! Thank you Age Scotland!
