Cycling with Past Times

On 31st March 2026 we braved new territory when we got on our bikes - many of us for the first time in years! We were helped in this new venture by the staff and volunteers at Clyde Cycle Park in Cambuslang. We had so much fun that we have repeated this exercise every month up until June. Unfortunately, the Cycle Park couldn’t accommodate us over the school holidays so instead we travelled a little further in July to Sunny Cyclesat Glasgow Green. There we found an equally warm welcome and the same kind of adapted bikes which allow someone who is no longer able to power themselves on a bike to be assisted by someone whose legs work a little better! We are due to revisit Sunny Cycles in August - and we hope to be blessed with another sunny day. Here are some of our photographs, which give a little taste of the fun we have been having at both venues. Of course this activity hasn’t been for all of our visitors - but we hope that more will be encouraged to join us in the future.
